This exercise works well as a discovery process at the beginning of a project to identify key attributes.

• Who are the various stakeholders?

• What is the problem or challenge. Describe it succinctly.

• When did or will this happen? What are the timelines?

• Where is this relevant where might it have the greatest impact?

• Why are we dong this? What’s the key motivator?

• How did we get here and how will we move forward?

1. Write your subject matter or problem in the central node

2. Answer each of the six attribute prompt questions

3. Discuss the outcomes in terms of strategy and implementation

4. Assign roles, responsibilities, and timeless using Action Items panel
