This is not the traditional ikigai. This is a take on it by reducing it down to the concept to allow for customization. Often, we tussle between doing what's necessary and doing what we feel we deserve. And as psychology and Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs has shown, your brain only allows for what is needed next – not in an ideal state. The sooner you can achieve the basic needs, the sooner you can allow yourself the space to think about what you deserve.

In this version of ikigai, we strip down the concept so you can choose only what you need next. Then, we'll walk you through how to turn that into action.
