Description:
This UX Case Study Template helps you create a complete and structured UX process, from user understanding to testing and improvement. It is designed to guide you step by step and ensure you don’t miss any important phase of a UX project.
It is ideal for UX designers, students, product managers, and teams who want to organize their thinking, communicate clearly, and build strong case studies.
How to use this template:
Step 01 – Persona
Define your target user. Add key information such as role, goals, needs, frustrations, and context. This helps you stay user-focused throughout the process.
Step 02 – Problem
Write a clear problem statement based on your persona. What is the main challenge the user is facing? Keep it specific and actionable.
Step 03 – How Might We
Turn the problem into opportunity questions using “How might we…?”. This step helps you reframe the problem and open the door to solutions.
Step 04 – Ideas
Brainstorm 4–6 ideas. Explore different approaches (features, UX, workflows). Then select the most promising idea to move forward.
Step 05 – Prototype
Create a simple representation of your solution (wireframes are enough). Define key screens and show the user flow between them.
Step 06 – Testing & Improvement
Plan how you will test your solution (users, scenarios, tasks). Identify possible improvements and define success metrics (e.g., usability, time saved).
