The S.PSSxSMDS Design Toolkit is an integrated set of design tools developed to systematically support the understanding, ideation, concept development, visualisation and evaluation of Sustainable Product–Service Systems (S.PSS) applied to Smart Mobile Device Systems (SMDS).
The toolkit offers a step-by-step, modular process that helps designers, researchers, companies and students to:
analyse the current SMDS offering and its environmental/organisational challenges,
generate and structure new S.PSS concepts,
translate ideas into clear system proposals, and
assess the consistency and robustness of the concepts before implementation.
