"A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself." ~Josh Billings
Puppies Who Code Retrospective is a way for a Team to reflect on ways to improve their Team System using a puppy's behavioral traits.
Reflection questions have been added to each trait, prompting the Team to further engage in the discussion.
How can we apply our past experiences from the perspective of a puppy?
How to use the Retrospective
Set the Stage:
After the team checks in, introduce the Retro and guide the Team to reflect on the different areas as it pertains to their Team System and current events.
Gather the Data:
Guide the team to cluster their thoughts & affinity map while they converse.
Gather Insights:
Encourage them to analyze problems/issues brought up and their corresponding solutions.
Decide What to Do:
Encourage the team to identify learnings, decide improvements to make. They can use dot voting to narrow down items to work on.
Close the Retro:
Summarize the next steps and ask for feedback on how to make the Retrospective better next time.
