This template is for strategists who want to identify the key players in their field and map out their relationships to those decisionmakers. It can be used for any issue or field in any state. First, identify the key people in your issue or field you need to consider and place their names on the blank sticky notes. Then, place those sticky notes on the grid continuum to identify how likely they are to support or oppose you, and how much influence they have. Lastly, from the grid, identify one to five individuals who you hope to persuade or could be useful to your cause, and use the webs at the bottom of the page to map out your relationships and connections to those key decisionmakers.
