Motivation Mapping is an exercise to understand the outcomes and motivation for ourselves and the customer. We use a canvas divided into five sections and identify the persona, context, outcomes, motivations, and obstacles. The Motivation Map can then be used as a status board to look back to and see how we have progressed against our desired outcomes.
