🔎 What is the template about?

Secret Agent Briefing Room is a spy-themed, Lean Coffee-style retrospective designed for remote teams. Inspired by covert operations and secret missions, this board transforms your usual retro into an engaging debriefing experience straight out of a spy movie.

From the agent ID cards to the "Mission Intel Drop," every detail is tailored to immerse your team in the world of espionage while still driving meaningful sprint reflection and action planning.

🎯 What does it help you achieve?

  • Create a fun and safe space for sprint reflection

  • Encourage open conversation through anonymous or guided voting

  • Help teams prioritize what matters most using Lean Coffee principles

  • Drive actionable takeaways through a clear and themed flow

  • Boost team engagement with playful visuals and an interactive icebreaker

👥 Who would benefit from it the most?

  • Agile, Scrum, or Kanban teams working remotely

  • Teams who want to refresh their retros and try something creative

  • Facilitators and Scrum Masters looking to increase energy and engagement

  • Distributed teams who enjoy gamification and strong visual storytelling

  • Anyone tired of the same old sticky note boards

🧭 How to use it

  1. “What’s in Your Spy Kit?” Each participant copies their Agent ID Card and lists 3 tools they’d carry on every mission (a fun way to start with creativity and lightness).

  2. Gather Mission Intel Add discussion topics to the “Mission Intel Drop” — anything from wins, issues, or questions from the sprint.

  3. Vote on Priorities Use the voting dots to choose which topics to discuss first.

  4. Run the Operation Move one topic into “Operation in Progress” and start the timer (default: 7 minutes). When time’s up, the team votes to keep going or move on.

  5. Case Closed Once discussed, move topics into “Case Closed.”

  6. Assign Agent Orders Capture follow-up actions in the “Agent Orders” section, assigning ownership and due dates.

✨ Bonus: Keep your eyes peeled for hidden elements — a secret clickable Easter egg just might lead you to a surprise briefing…
