This template provides an interactive framework that enables architects and engineers to evaluate their use of AI by assessing different applications in terms of risk and effectiveness. Users position AI use-case cards within the matrix based on their assessment, supporting structured reflection and discussion. Cards can also be discarded by dragging them into the discard box if they are considered irrelevant or not applicable.
Instructions:
Participants should drag and drop each AI use-case card onto the matrix, placing it according to how they perceive its level of risk (e.g., low to high) and effectiveness (e.g., low to high). The horizontal axis represents effectiveness, while the vertical axis represents risk. There are no right or wrong answers—the goal is to encourage critical thinking and dialogue about how AI is applied in practice. If a use case is not relevant to a participant’s experience or context, it can be moved to the discard box. Once all cards have been placed, the matrix can serve as a basis for comparison & discussion.
