How to create a diagram with Mermaid in Miro

1. Set up your Miro board

Create a new board in Miro, head to the toolbar, click on “More apps” and choose “Mermaid diagrams” to open the Mermaid diagram editor.

2. Choose a sample diagram

Under “Sample diagrams,” explore the range of pre-made diagrams and select the one you’re looking for — whether it’s a flowchart, ER diagram, or something else.

3. Edit the code

Use the editor to replace the pre-written code with your own, allowing you to change up the format and content of the sample diagram.

4. Get feedback

When you’re ready, click “Add to board” to view your diagram on your Miro board. Then, invite others to view and comment on your board with feedback.
