This template is designed for preparing workshops with clients or internal teams. It helps you capture all the essential information in a structured way — the context, participants, desired outcomes, and any pre-work.
The Workshop Designer Sidekick can then use this information to generate a full workshop plan.
You activate it by pressing this button on the left side of Miro!
The purpose of the board is to capture what matters most before designing a workshop: the goal, key challenges, participants, timing, and expected outputs.
By having this information upfront, the sidekick can propose suitable techniques, activities, timing, and even provide facilitation instructions.
Why It’s Useful
Using this board ensures that no critical details are missed and keeps preparation structured.
It improves collaboration by involving clients or stakeholders directly in shaping the brief. It saves time on back-and-forth emails or missing details later in the process.
The captured information can be turned directly into:
a tailored workshop agenda
a list of facilitation techniques and exercises
timeboxed steps and Miro board setup instructions
facilitator notes or even slide decks and handouts
This accelerates the path from initial idea to a well-designed and ready-to-run workshop.
