Miraculous ideas are a dime a dozen. Actually getting started is a whole other ballgame.
The bigger the idea, the more challenging it is to decide what that first step should be.
Throughout the years I’ve created a deceivingly simple method in Miro that I now use for almost every meeting I facilitate regarding a new project or idea.
Here’s the basic rundown:
What’s the goal of the meeting?
What’s the challenge we’re discussing?
What’s in, and what’s out of scope?
I told you. Deceivingly simple.
These questions trigger the right conversations that need to be had at the start of every project.
What do you actually want to end up with at the end of the session? When do you have enough information for the next step?
Are we really discussing a challenge or a solution?
What are the limitations, if any, that we need to adhere to regarding our scope?
