E-Learning: Introduction to Human-Centered Design (ISO 9241-210)

You can complete this e-learning either on your own or in groups. It can also be used as a mini workshop to train and strengthen your knowledge of Human-Centered Design.

Target audience

This e-learning is suitable for students and beginners in design and related fields.

Do not worry about being perfect & just focus on learning and understanding the concepts.

Content

This short e-learning introduces the core concepts of Human-Centered Design (HCD) based on ISO 9241-210. It is designed to support learners in understanding the basic idea, principles, and process of HCD through reflection and simple application tasks.

Participants will explore users, tasks, and contexts of use in everyday scenarios and learn why iteration and evaluation are essential to successful human-centered design. The template includes short exercises to encourage active learning. Correct answers and explanations are provided at the end.

Learning Goals

After completing this e-learning, learners will be able to
