DC4DM Toolkit Template

The DC4M Toolkit is an operational resource designed to support people in developing and empowering Digital Creative Abilities to strategically drive the application of future emerging digital technologies in any field to achieve Digital Maturity.

Meant to be open and accessible to everyone, the DC4DM Toolkit is one of the intellectual outputs of the DC4DM European project (https://www.dc4dm.eu/), and it challenges learners to shape preferable future scenarios through the application of a Design Futures process and ad hoc designed tools.

It is designed for learners and educators who are willing to gain and train a new set of abilities that would enable them to:

1. understand technology's potentialities and apply them in relevant digital solutions employing a human-centered design approach;

2. work smoothly in a cross-functional team, being able to communicate effectively with people coming from different fields and developing a digitally-minded and creative culture;

3. anticipate possible future scenarios to define long-term strategies for identifying the opportunities and handling the risks that digital technologies might generate and tackle complexity and uncertainty.

IDEActivity Center is a center of excellence within the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano, one of the largest design research and teaching facilities in the world. We work at the intersection of Digital Creativity and Design Futures to facilitate processes of innovation through design. IDEActivity Center is the DC4DM Project coordinator.
