Behavior loop designer
The template centers the user's motivation and uses a framework of core drives to help you design effective behavior loops. The list of core drives is based on my work in the gaming industry.
When we interact with other people, we are driven by belonging, pride/envy, competition and cooperation.
We find meaning in the universe by accomplishing things, overcoming barriers, expressing our creativity, feeding our curiosity and by participating in stories.
Our attitude to resources is driven by scarcity, impatience, ownership and unpredictability.

When to use this template:
You should use this template when designing a new loop, or evaluating the effectiveness of an existing loop;
It is best used in team settings to build a common understanding of effective loops.
How to use this template:
Guess the users' core drive. Copy the core drive questionnaire and fill it in;
Identify the user action that starts the behavior loop;
What happens to the user when they interact with the product as a result of the action taken to start the loop?
What is the action the user takes to exit the loop?
What is the trigger for the user to start the loop again?
How often does the loop repeat?
