Miro is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and we expect our customers, users and partners to comply with the same standards. This Policy is read together with the agreement between us and the end user/customer/partner (“you”) and the other applicable terms and conditions available on our website (“ToS”).

Infringement Notices

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) provides recourse for copyright owners who believe that material appearing on the internet infringes their rights under U.S. copyright law. The full text of the DMCA is available on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf.

We have put in place a process of responding to notices of copyright or other IP infringement consistent with the DMCA. If you believe in good faith that content within Miro products or services infringe on your or a third party’s copyright or other IP, you may ask us to remove or block access to such content, by sending delivering a notice to our Designated IP Agent (details below) with the following details and meeting the DMCA applicable requirements:

• “Report Abuse Copyright Infringement” or “Report Abuse Other IP Infringement” in the subject field of the e-mail/correspondence
• a description of the copyrighted work(s) or other IP claimed to have been infringed, including, for other IP infringement claims, evidence of IP ownership (e.g., registration certificates or other documents or information sufficient to establish your claimed rights in the IP)
• a description of the material you claim to be infringing or the subject of the infringing activity, and information allowing to locate the material in our products or services
• the following statements: “I hereby declare that use of the material in the manner presented above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law” and “I hereby represent that this notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am, or I am authorized to act on behalf of, the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed in the material”
• your name, address, telephone number and email address; and
• a physical or electronic signature of the copyright or other IP owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf

If we find the allegations to be correct, we may remove the offending material and warn the user who posted it. We reserve the right to suspend or disable the accounts of users who repeatedly mislead others or violate any third-party intellectual property rights.
