A clean, spacious workshop board for teams and workplaces that want to strengthen wellbeing, equity, accessibility, and sustainable ways of working. Use a familiar SWOT framework to move beyond individual work-life balance and explore the policies, practices, pressures, and systems that shape people’s everyday experience at work.
What is it for?
This template helps teams identify what is already working, where people face barriers, which improvements are possible, and which external pressures could undermine wellbeing. It brings together important workplace topics that are often discussed separately, including:
Mental health, burnout, psychological safety, workload, and boundaries
Gender equality, caregiving, pregnancy, parental leave, and career progression
Disability inclusion, accessibility, and reasonable adjustments
Fair pay, financial wellbeing, retirement saving, and insecure work
Movement, ergonomics, rest, and physical health
Sick leave, carers’ leave, flexible work, and regulatory responsibilities
A dedicated Equality, Accessibility & Wellbeing Check helps the group investigate underlying patterns—not just visible symptoms.
Who is it for?
People and culture teams, managers, employee resource groups, wellbeing leads, DEI practitioners, HR consultants, leadership teams, and cross-functional workplace-improvement groups. It works well for organisations of any size, as well as individual departments or project teams.
How to use it
Invite a representative mix of participants and set clear expectations for respectful, confidential discussion.
Add one observation, challenge, opportunity, or risk per sticky note.
Sort notes into Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, or Threats.
Tag notes related to mental health, gender equality, disability inclusion, fair pay, caregiving, workload, flexibility, or physical health.
Use the Equality, Accessibility & Wellbeing Check to identify who may be affected differently and where evidence is needed.
Group similar notes, identify patterns, and vote on the issues with the greatest impact.
Turn the priorities into practical actions, such as a policy review, workload check, accessibility improvement, manager training, or listening session.
