The Team Canvas is a key activity for any high-functioning team - whether they are a new team, starting a new project with a new or old team, or an existing team who want to have renewed focus. It ensures all members are aligned, or opportunities to address misalignment, how team members can support each other, and get really clear on roles and responsibilities.
The activity is really a way to foster conversation - and adress misalignment early before it impacts team productivity or experience. You can do all the sections, or ones that are relevant to you and your team and project.
Using the Team Canvas ensures a balance of voices in the team - everyone has the same amount of time. Using Miro means you can cross time and land zones, or even complete the task asynchronously if people have limited availability.
Once you've completed it, it's something you can revisit as a project continues to realign the team, identify if anything has changed, or onboard new team members.
