Turn a simple "where is everyone joining from?" into a moment of connection.
Participants drag their avatar to their location on the map and fill out their sticky note with a little more context. Why that place? What is the story behind it? The result is a warm, visual check-in that gets people talking before the session even starts.
Works great as an icebreaker, warm-up, or opening activity for virtual and hybrid sessions.

How to use it:
Duplicate the template, share the board link with your participants, and ask everyone to drag their avatar from the people panel to their location. Note: only participants logged into a Miro account will appear in the panel.
Not just for locations either. Try prompts like "where was your last vacation?", "where did you grow up?", or "where would you move tomorrow if you could?"
