Prepare this reusable one-on-one workspace by copying one complete card from the library into its blank slot. It is for managers and colleagues who already use Miro and want an optional 5–10 minute opening. Together, choose a picture, a plain question, or go straight to the agenda. No art knowledge, personal story or written response is needed; stop sooner whenever you wish.
Use it at the start of a regular one-on-one when both people want a few minutes for an opening. It is optional on every occasion.
The board combines three museum images with observation questions and plain-question alternatives. Its blank workspace is for placing a card before the conversation. It is not a place to record or assess a colleague.
How to use it
1. Make a copy under your own access settings. Before the meeting, duplicate one complete paired card from the library into the workspace.
2. Ask: “Would you like a picture, a short question, or to go straight to our agenda?” Wait for a choice. If neither opening is wanted, or there is no clear choice, continue with the agenda. No explanation is needed.
3. Use only the chosen route. Read the picture instruction and question, or read the plain question. Listen without interpreting the person or their choice. Either person can stop at any time.
4. Return to your normal agenda when ready. For another meeting, use a fresh workspace copy. The library and fictional example are references, not more steps to complete.
Answers can stay spoken. Do not add employee notes, names or sensitive information to this template. Your workspace’s normal Miro permissions and history still apply.
