Report

This Behavior Design Snapshot gives an overview of the different elements required in building a behavior among users.

This template looks into the current behavior and what is not working and uses it to design specific elements of the desired behavior:

  • Triggers: provides context as to when and how the behavior occurs and the prompts needed to trigger the behavior

  • Ability: expands on the different barriers to enacting the behavior and the elements that would make the behavior easy to do

  • Motivation: elements such as rewards, goals and progress tracking that users can use to remain in the loop of building the behavior

  • Reinforcement: any instant feedback, appreciation or social reinforcement to continue building the behavior
