BAS Operation Verification

The BAS Operation Verification Canvas is a practical learning template for checking one accounting transaction from its source document to its final appearance in reports. It separates the economic fact from the way it is entered in BAS, asks learners to predict postings before the document is posted, and provides a repeatable path for finding discrepancies in accounts, analytics, settlements, inventory, or tax records.

Use it for instructor-led exercises, individual practice, or peer review. Complete frames 1–5 before posting, compare the actual records in frame 6, verify the result in at least two reports in frame 7, and record a reproducible conclusion in frame 8. Adapt document names and report paths to your BAS configuration.
