What is a Hooked model?
A brainchild of Nir Eyal, Hooked is a four-step process that businesses can use to create and increase user engagement.
Why should you apply this model to your product/ UX thinking?
Improve user experience and habit-formation of your product by applying behavioural theories.
Subtly nudge your users to engage with your products by bringing delight and value to them
When should you apply hooked model?
When you are building high frequency usage products, defined as products meant to be used daily, or at least every couple of weeks. E.g. communication tools, social media, meditation apps. (Not products like insurance where people purchase annually.)
