Ethics Check-In

I believe that design can huge impact on the society and the world in either good or bad manner. I’ve been interested in exploring ‘how can I proactively assess and address the (un)intended consequences of the product in the design process.'

It turned into the research question, and ended up I developed the ✨ Ethics Check-In ✨ framework as a part of my master’s thesis. The purpose of the method is to check-in the designers ethical values in design decisions, and to consciously draw the attention on ethical initiatives of the team. Anyone finding it interesting can access to this template and run the co-creation activity within the team. The ethics check-in questions, that you will have as a takeaway after the activities, will guide your team to have a qualitative North Star to ensure the products your team makes stay ethical.
