Marketing Plan Sprint Board

This template helps marketing teams run focused two-week sprints with clear ownership, priorities, and deadlines. Designed for teams who want the velocity of agile development applied to campaigns, content, and launches, it combines a Kanban workflow with campaign planning and health tracking in one view. Whether you're coordinating across email, social, paid media, and PR, or simply tired of scattered task lists and unclear priorities, this board creates a single source of truth for what's shipping, who owns it, and when it's due.

Sprint Header

Start each sprint by filling in the sprint number, date range, and a one-sentence goal that describes what will be true when the sprint ends. Track your team's velocity by recording committed versus completed story points, and use the owner key to decode initials to full names so everyone knows who's behind each task.

Priority Legend

Three color-coded tiers keep everyone aligned on what matters most. P1 (red) tasks must ship, P2 (orange) tasks should ship if capacity allows, and P3 (teal) tasks are nice to have. Apply these colors to your cards to make priorities visible at a glance.

Kanban Board

The workflow spans five columns. Backlog holds all upcoming tasks. Ready contains cards with a clear brief, owner, and due date—pull these into work when you have capacity. In Progress (WIP limit of 4) shows active work. Review (WIP limit of 3) flags cards awaiting a named reviewer. Done houses completed work that passed your Definition of Done. Each card follows a simple format: verb + deliverable as the title, owner initials, due date, and story points.

Campaign Calendar

A six-week grid maps campaigns across channels. Rows represent Email, Social, Paid Media, Site & PR, and Milestones. Place campaign blocks as horizontal bars stretching across their active weeks, and mark key dates with diamond-shaped milestone markers. This visual layer helps the team spot conflicts, gaps, and launch coordination needs.

Sprint Health Panel

Three panels keep the sprint on track. Blockers surface what's stuck, who owns it, and since when—prompting action before issues fester. Definition of Done establishes the quality bar every card must meet before moving to Done. Retro provides a Keep / Change / Try format for end-of-sprint reflection and continuous improvement.

Cheers!
