How to align stakeholders at the start of a product development project?
Project kick-offs can easily turn into long discussions about possible solutions, while important questions get lost:
Who are the users? What problem are we trying to solve for them? Are there technical, legal or design constraints?
That's why I developed a simple Project Kick-off framework, which I've used in around 15 projects.
It helps me bring business, product and other stakeholders together around a shared understanding of the goals, user problems, existing knowledge and constraints.
Instead of leaving the meeting with scattered notes and shared files, everyone has one picture of the project.
