Turn your team’s recurring problems into focused improvement experiments—with a little help from the Minions. 🍌

This facilitated two-part workshop helps teams look beyond symptoms, articulate the systemic problems that keep getting in their way, and use Agile, Lean and Kanban principles and practices to explore better ways of working. Bello! No banana-based solutions required. Probably.

In the first workshop, participants create and share problem statements, identify which problems matter most, and start generating possible solutions. Between sessions, the facilitator connects the highest-priority problems with relevant Agile, Lean and Kanban principles and practices. In the second workshop, the team explores those connections, develops further solution ideas, prioritizes them, and turns a promising problem–solution combination into a concrete experiment.

Along the way, Minions explain principles and practices, help participants navigate the board, provide some wisdom, and keep a serious conversation about systemic improvement engaging and accessible. Expect the occasional BEE-DO BEE-DO, questionable wisdom and, naturally, bananas. 🍌

Best for: teams beginning or deepening an Agile journey, Agile Coaches and facilitators who want to uncover systemic issues, and teams looking for practical experiments rather than abstract improvement discussions.

Format: 2 facilitated workshops of approximately 2.5 hours each, ideally about a week apart, with some facilitator preparation between sessions.

The board also contains guidance for adapting the concept into a lighter retrospective, for those occasions when two workshops are simply too much work-work-work-work-work.

Serious problems. Useful principles. Small experiments. Minions.

Poopaye! 👋
