Set Goals in Election Operations Activity
This Miro board is a companion to the Center for Civic Design's new toolkit: Setting goals in election operations.
The toolkit helps election administrators take insights and turn them into the foundations for actionable plans. This board is a companion tool that helps facilitate outlined guidance.
There are 4 steps to successful goal setting:
Debrief the current election. Gather your team to identify wins and growth opportunities. Our Post-election debrief toolkit covers this.
Prioritize areas that need work. Narrow down what you want to focus on in the next election cycle.
Define goal(s). Write specific goals and make decisions about the parameters of the work needed to achieve them.
Create preliminary plans for your goals. Secure approval and resources to do the work.
