One of the businesses within the group was preparing for significant expansion, placing pressure on recruitment and retention. Rather than immediately increasing HR headcount, leadership explored whether existing HR teams across the group could collaborate more effectively to support growth. Each business had its own HR processes, tools, and ways of working, with limited visibility across the wider cluster. The goal was to improve collaboration, create clearer ownership of key HR processes, and work smarter without adding complexity. We partnered with the Head of HR for the Data & Tech cluster to design and facilitate collaborative workshops using Miro as a shared working space. HR teams mapped current processes, shared tools and collateral, explored recruitment and retention challenges, and identified opportunities to improve ways of working across the group. The result was stronger collaboration, clearer accountability, better visibility across HR practices, and a more connected HR function positioned to support growth more efficiently.
