There are two ways you can get access to Miro. As a student, you can collaborate with up to 10 users for free for two years. Educators can sign up with up to 100 users – free forever!

How long does it take to approve the application?
Applications will be approved within 10 days. We’ll send you a confirmation email when your Education account is activated.
How long can I use my Education account?
An Education account is free forever for faculty. For students, you can use Miro for free as long as you qualify for the license. After your account is created it will be valid for two years. To extend your license, simply re-apply with proof of active enrollment.
Can I share my boards with users who are not registered with Miro?
People you invite may view and comment on boards without signing up. In order to edit and contribute to the boards, they’ll need to sign up for Miro with an email address.
Do I qualify for an Educational account?
Miro provides a free Education account to faculty and students of accredited educational institutions. Check if you’re eligible.
How many users can I invite to my Education account?
Faculty can invite up to 100 users. Students can invite up to 10 users.
I am a student. Am I eligible for the Education account?
Yes. To be eligible, you must show documentation supporting your student status. If your educational institution already has an account, you may join it as a user.
Not every organization is eligible to receive access to an Education account. Please note that we
reserve the right to grant or deny access to this plan for any reason and to supplement or
amend the eligibility guidelines at any time.
