このテンプレートは、攻撃者が特定のゴールに現実的に到達する経路を可視化します。単一のルート目標から代替となる攻撃経路（OR）へ分岐し、それぞれの経路は実行に必要な具体的な前提ステップ（AND）へと分解されます。各リーフステップにはシールドアイコンが付き、そのステップが既に緩和済みか、一部対応済みか、あるいはまだ未対応かを示すため、ゴールまでの最短で防御が最も薄い経路をすばやく特定できます。ローンチ前や大幅なアーキテクチャ変更後など、特定のシステムや機能のセキュリティレビューに最適です。
