The Lean Project Sell to the Sponsor Template can be used to sell an idea for change to the Lean Project Sponsor.

How to use the Lean Project Sell to the Sponsor Template:

(Use information from the team Project Documentation, Current Landscape, Data Analysis, Recommended Future State & Implementation Plan)

Step 1: Title Page. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. Adjust the agenda to fit the Lean Team needs.

Step 2: Project Team. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. Add your team members.

Step 3: Opportunity Statement. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. Cut and paste the opportunity statement the Lean Team created in the project documentation.

Step 4: Current Landscape. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. List out the current pain points, inefficiencies.

Step 5: Current Landscape Process. Use a snip it of your Current Landscape. Use the “Link to” functionality to view the entire Current Landscape process.

Step 6: Data Analysis. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. Set the baseline, what are you measuring?

Step 7: Recommendations for Change. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. List out what the Lean Team is recommending for changes.

Step 8: Recommended Future State. Use a snip it of your Recommended Future State. Use the “Link to” functionality to view the entire Recommended Future State Process.

Step 9: Anticipated Outcomes. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. List out what the Lean Team anticipates the changes will be.

Step 10: Implementation Plan. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. Articulate at a high-level what it will take to implement what the Lean Team is recommending: Time and Resources.

Step 11: Implementation Timeline. If needed create a timeline to show when the implementation tasks will occur.

Step 12: Critical Factors for Success. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. Articulate what is needed to set this change up for success.

Step 13: Projected Savings. Change the photo and insert something that works for the Lean Team. Articulate what the projected savings will be.
