Ikigai is a Japanese concept that loosely translates to “reason for being”—your deeper purpose that gives life meaning. It’s illustrated through this Venn diagram that brings together four key elements:
What you love (your passion)
What you are good at (your vocation)
What the world needs (your mission)
What you can be paid for (your profession)
