The Visual Agile Coach Spinning Plates
The phrase Spinning Plates is taken to mean pursuing multiple activities at the same time – evoking the image of a circus act – but more often just reflecting modern life. Your plates are unique to You. They can be representative of:
Your life – family, work, relationships, health etc – just like the Wheel of Life.
Projects, responsibilities, initiatives, goals or objectives
A mix of anything you want: activities, responsibilities, even dreams.
Use For:
Reflection, pressing pause
Planning and managing workload
Times of stress and pressure
Best For: Self-coaching or a visual capacity and planning exercise with your team.

Visualising the number of plates can show whether you have taken on too much or have spare capacity.
Align your plates to your Wheel of Life. Maybe you’re spinning too many plates of 1 type.
However many plates you decide to spin, the trick is not to drop one (or more) if this feels like a risk then it’s time to think about putting down one (or more) safely
