Resilience Training With a Product Team Focus

Report

The unexpected happens, and as technology and the world move faster, this is reality, not an edge case.

However, rather than excessively planning for the unknown and unknowable; this exercise aims to get the team to expect the unexpected and 'practice how to respond, not react. Meaning they become a more resilient team. This is a fun, gamified, scenario-based workshop that asks everyone to read a comic-book style scenario of a sprint, 'react' and then think about what they could do 'in their control' to be more (or less) like the fictional team at the digital company 'seahorse'. (complete instructions (including time prompts) are on the board for the 'instruction fans' amongst you). FOR diverse teams - as we appreciate neurodiversity, we also need to design for it. One element of this can be a disparity in 'comfort with change.' This addresses, aligns, and supports everyone with the inevitable change in the plan. FOR new joiners or those learning scrum - it's a great bit of scrum based training that focusses on the core value of 'agile' behind the rules and processes.
