Project kick-off
The project kick-off template is the first step of starting a successful project with a client and getting to know the team, whether that’s a new client or somebody you already know.
When to use it?
Kick-start a new project with the entire team, revisit the approach and planning, and make sure you’re all at the same page. Use this template to clarify and surface any questions or barriers that need to be addressed before the start of a project, such as
the initial project briefing,
the roles and responsibilities,
the tools to be used,
the project timeline,
and the planning overview.
How it works?
The workshop takes 1,5-2hrs and includes all relevant roles that will take part of the project. It helps with introducing everyone to each other and clarifying expectations before you start working on the project. Take a moment to clarify and validate the finer details of the planning, and each team member can ask clarifying questions about the brief. While all relevant information should be already shared with everyone upfront, this is the perfect moment to make sure everyone is aligned, to prevent surprises later on. Each exercise takes between 10 to 20 mins with exception of the roles & responsibilities for which you should spare max. 30 mins.
