WHAT?

The tool helps to set up the framework for collaboration projects between service design universities and public sector partners, including the formal foundation for the collaboration. It clarifies the roles, responsibilities, obligations, and rights of the partners.

WHO?

This tool aims at service design educators that are involved in public sector collaborations.

WHEN?

The tool is particularly useful when planning a collaboration between your service design university and a public sector partner.

WHY?

The tool helps you to consider all the critical factors and decisions that need to be made when setting up a collaboration, such as defining the content and scope of the project, facilitating the management of expectations, and addressing organisational needs and legal requirements.

OUTCOME

By initially using the tool you determine what steps are required for setting up your collaborative project, which can be used continuously as a to-do list.

When all the necessary steps have been completed, your output will be a project definition or a brief that will frame the topic and scope of the project, and a study agreement that will define the legal requirements and contracts.
