Back in February, we introduced the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to make the shared visual context teams already create in Miro accessible to AI agents across the organization. Then we asked you to build something real with it.
You didn’t just meet the brief. You made us rethink what’s possible when AI can actually see and manipulate your workspace in real-time.
After reviewing submissions that ranged from productivity tools to workflow automation to entirely new ways of collaborating, our judges picked three winners who nailed it.
The challenge
From January 28 to February 16, builders used Miro’s MCP server with tools like OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, and GitHub Copilot to solve problems they were tired of dealing with. The brief was simple: Build something useful, record a demo, and share it with the world.
We received submissions that automated documentation, connected disparate tools, generated workflows from messy brainstorms, and created custom integrations we’re frankly jealous we didn’t think of first!
The winners
Impact: Kusuma Sukma

Kusuma Sukma is a facilitator and mentor who’s passionate about agile leadership and product innovation.
He wowed the judges with his template that takes an idea from prototype to live product using Flows, Sidekicks, and the Miro MCP Server. Within minutes, he was able to connect his board to Lovable and Replit to generate a live landing page and AI‑accelerated mobile app that solves a real, everyday challenge. Check out his demo here!
Innovation: Rodolfo Pernambuco

Rodolfo Pernambuco is an experienced product leader who specializes in digital transformation. He developed a Competitive Benchmarking Flow using the Miro MCP Server to connect to Claude Code and add context to the canvas.
In a matter of minutes, he was able to generate an action plan and suite of strategic deliverables based on messy input, ultimately saving hours of manual work. Check out his Talktrack here!
Community choice: Patrícia Paternina

Patrícia is an Agile Master with 18 years in the Telecommunications industry. Out of all the submissions, Patrícia shared a demo that resonated the most with the community on LinkedIn.
By connecting her board to Claude using the Miro MCP Server, she was able to input Scrum Guide documentation and receive outputs like Slides, diagrams, and images directly on the board. Check out her post here!
To all the participants: We’re so impressed!
We loved seeing the different ways you interpreted this challenge, and we feel so inspired by the amazing boards you built using the Miro MCP server. We were incredibly impressed by the high-quality submissions we received and want to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated.
Congratulations once again to our winners! 🎉
What we learned
This challenge proved something we suspected: when developers can give AI the full context of a Miro board, they build tools that actually matter. Not flashy demos, but solutions to problems that eat up hours every week.
We saw workflows that used to take multiple apps and manual copying get condensed into seconds. We saw teams create custom automation for their specific way of working. We saw ideas go from sticky notes to working prototypes while the coffee was still hot.
Keep building
If you missed this challenge, the MCP server isn’t going anywhere. The tools are here and the next breakthrough is probably sitting in your board right now.
