Build a common understanding of all stakeholders, enabling teams to form the right connections, explore key relationships in more depth, and tailor communication effectively.
The Stakeholder Mapping Canvas is a visual tool to identify who needs to be involved in climate resilience efforts and how they relate to each other. In facilitation, participants collaboratively list organizations, groups, or individuals with a stake in the issue and map their roles, influence, and connections. This exercise reveals potential partners and power dynamics like which stakeholders have high influence or which groups are underrepresented. By mapping these relationships, communities can prioritize whom to engage and ensure an inclusive adaptation process.
