A "What-If" board is a general, qualitative analysis tool used to identify potential risks during an initial assessment. Its purpose is to explore different scenarios by asking "What if?" questions, which helps uncover possible issues or hazards that may not be immediately apparent. This technique is simple yet effective for a first-pass evaluation of risks in various situations.
It can be understood as a guided brainstorming session.
