Responsible (R): Executes the work to complete the task
Accountable (A): Ultimately answerable for the task’s completion and outcome
Support (S): Provides resources, tools, or assistance to those responsible
Consulted (C): Offers input and expertise; two-way communication
Informed (I): Kept up to date on progress; one-way communication
Instructions
Define task(s) or activities and add them to the table. Create more if the four provided by the template are not enough.
Identify Stakeholders involved and add them to the list. Add emojis or images if they don't have a Miro account.
Explain the RASCI roles and their responsibilities to the participants.
Map Stakeholders to the respective roles column per task or activity. If helpful, add a sticky note explaining their responsibility / scope in detail.
Collaborate, discuss, review, and share the outcome with everyone involved
Update the board with all Stakeholders regularly (e.g. task status in Sprint Reviews or changing responsibilities in Retros).
Assign at least one “Responsible” and one “Accountable” per task to avoid ambiguity.
