Food and Mood Diary
This canvas is a space for you to easily track your food, fluids, and feelings week by week. Some might call it a food diary, but it's about much more than just food.
You might choose to track your emotions throughout the day. You might want to see if your commute affects your mental health. Do you tend to snack more when you stay up late? Are your headaches related to sugar, screen time or lack of sleep? And how does your hydration affect your, ahem, bowel movements?
When you measure and benchmark these things, you can understand them better and start to change them.
This template is perfect for you if:
You want to track what you eat and drink each day
You need to monitor daily functions, from blood sugars and bowel movements to dizziness and migraines
You need to gather evidence for a nutritionist, dietitian or physician
You're thinking about ways to track your health, well-being, and emotions
Each day of the week, there's space for you to:
Note down what you eat, drink, and feel for each 24-hour period
Add in any medications you take or treatments you do
Share your exercise, step count or activities
Summarise your overall mood
Add emojis for a little je ne sais quoi
The results?
Worry less about your health
Understand your body better
Over time, be able to identify what your triggers are
See patterns in how your food, fluid intake, meds and feelings are related
Make changes to your diet and lifestyle based on evidence
Prepare detailed notes to share with health professionals
