Empathy Map

This Empathy Map template helps to get a deep understanding of personas. It highlights dissonances, irritants as well as specific opportunities of this persona. It allows to:

• Put the user in the center

• Generate empathy

• Target irritants and opportunities

How to use this template

This template should be filled following research studies. It could also be completed with various experts having a knowledge of the persona.

• Build one Empathy Map per persona

• Chose a color for sticky notes cominig from proper research studies and another for the notes from various experts

• Use verbatims as much as possible

• Make sure that it is synthetic and that it could be understood by all stakeholders
