What is Agile EBM Metric Assessment?

The Agile EBM Metric Assessment is a 60-90 minute collaborative workshop activity that helps teams examine their performance on various Agile EBM key parameters which will help them make informed decisions and brainstorm improvements and innovations for value delivery.

When to use this assessment?

A Scrum Master or an Agile Coach can use Agile EBM Metric assessment as a part of retrospective activity every sprint or can use this assessment at the end of each milestone (MVP or Release or PI or whichever is applicable). The Scrum Master/ Agile Coach should ensure that the team/ team members takes assessement with openness and courage to get best result.

Is Agile EBM Metric Assessment Template customizable?

• This template measures 6 key parameters of Agile EBM Metrics

• This template can be customized for Key parameters (recommended to use key paratemers of EBM Metrics), Questions, plotting technique etc

• The questions given in the template are guidelines and can be changed as appropriate

• If you feel plotting on a graph using emojis is not a better technique, you can replace with other techniques such as dot voting, icon voting etc instead of emojis.

How to use Agile EBM Metric Assessment Template?

This template can be run as a team workshop or can be used for individual team members as well

• Each team/ team member should read the question against each key parameter and should select only 1 option from 1 to 5 (not more than 1 answer is applicable for any question)

• The rating for each key parameter goes from 1 (lowest) to 5(highest)

• Once a team/ team member selects the option on the scale of 1-5, they can pick up the emoji from the emoji section and drop on the corresponding metric area score on the EBM radar.

e.g. if a team chooses option 5 for key parameter Customer Satisfaction(CSAT), they should plot the emoji on 5th section against the key parameter CSAT on EBM radar.

What next after completion of Agile EBM Metric Assessment?

Once the plotting of emojis against each key parameter is completed, the Scrum Master or Agile Coach to open the floor for a discussion to review the results against each key parameter of EBM Metric and come up with action items/ suggestions to get ideas for improving or discovering better ways of delivering value and measurement. This EBM Metric assessment could be a great tool which can be used to serve as an input to make informed decisions for value delivery.
