Coded Fairness Toolkit Template

This toolkit contains an ordered collection of methods that aim to enable a bias-sensitive development process of machine learning systems. It is primarily targeted at development teams of machine learning systems that are still in the conceptional phase of their product's development. The toolkit is based on a modular structure which allows better planning of the included methods' implementation.

The modules included in this toolkit are:

Scenario Building & Testing

Each module contains several methods accompanied by further background information. It is best conducted with a facilitator of your choice guiding the group through the methods. In addition to a comprehensive introduction, there are detailed instructions on how to implement each method.

The Coded Fairness Project is a product of a Strategic Design master's thesis at the University of Design Schwäbisch Gmünd and helps promote bias-sensitive development of machine learning systems.
