Barbie Retrospective

Welcome to Barbie Retro!

This template draws inspiration from Barbie movie to make our Retrospectives fun and Creative.

Barbie Retro has four quadrants, and the objective is to have a conversation around values we have delivered, hurdles we have encountered, choices we have made and finally, actions we would like to take for enhancing our overall process.

How to run this Retro?

• Set the stage: Start the retrospective by explaining each quadrant

• Reflect and write individually: Give 7-8 minutes to the team members to write their thoughts in 3 quadrant, leave the last one to agree together as a team for next action

• Present and discuss: Let each team members explain their stickies to each other to make sure everyone understands

• Group: Group the stickies if they are referring to the same topic

• Voting: Time for team voting on the topic(s) that needs focus going forward. Preferably use Second Quadrant("What has happened unexpectadly") for voting

• Next Actions - Based on the highest voted stickie(s) the teams agree on improvement action going forward in the next sprint.

• Previous Actions (Optional): Discuss the current progress of previous actions if still not done.
