Today, we’re excited to announce that IT admins can centrally manage Miro users through a direct integration with Okta or Microsoft Azure Active Directory. Additionally, they can implement custom provisioning with the Miro SCIM API.
As we turn the corner into the new year, we continue to bring you new and better ways to automate and scale the deployment of Miro across your organization. We’ve heard feedback from company admins that onboarding and offboarding users was an onerous, manual process. To make the process smoother and more efficient, we’re introducing the option to leverage the identity provider (IdP) you’ve already invested in: as you manage employees’ varying access to different software in your preferred IdP, those updates will auto-sync and be reflected in Miro – enabling you to create new user accounts, manage team memberships, and deactivate users in real time.

But it’s not only IT that benefits from this new feature — automated provisioning allows employees to have the relevant and appropriate level of access already configured before they’ve even logged in for the first time. In other words, employees can start using Miro right away, since approved and secure access is already in place.
Okta, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, and Miro SCIM API are available on our Enterprise Plan and is the next step in making it easier for teams to collaborate at scale anytime, anywhere.
