Wall-e Retrospective
This template is divided in two activities. The Robot's journey acts like a mood marble. Each participant will comment their name in the little robot's pic and drag to where it feels represents their "mood" in the last sprint.
The first pic is a cruise, meaning this person has room for more challenges and/or workload. Second pic is Down to Earth, people are working comfortable and no major blocks or issues. Third Pic is Struggling and an action might bne taken or it might be a temporary situation. Fourth pic is the Sandstorm and if someone from the squad puts themselve there, it's a sign of burnout, a major issue or something is going on that needs immediate attention and action.
The second activity is an Island Retrospective with a new view. Pretty much the goal is to take the Ship to Earth. Each one of the 4 quadrants represents one aspect of the Retro. What went well, what can be improved, what is causing trouble and what was the anchors/blocks. The team will fill up with stick notes in each quadrant. Then the notes are gruped together and discussed. It is a good practice to add black/white stick notes to the groups with the action plan or resolution. The template is copied each Retro so a history is left on the board.
