When to use The Brighter Side of Brainstorming?
There are certain times where everyone in your team feels like undertaking a project based on their likes. However, they are often stuck in their tracks because they don't know where to start or what to do. Using this exercise, you can help your team members figure out their likes and how they might translate those into tangible ideas/products.
How does The Brighter Side of Brainstorming work?
Me, Myself and I: Grounding - Breaks the team out of their work day and gets them in a creative spirit (2 minutes)
The Love Club: Likes - Helps the team put down their likes (4 minutes)
Shoot for the Moon: Discovery and Divergence - helps the team come up with product ideas without any constraints (7 minutes)
Middle of Somewhere: Narrowing Down and Convergence - helps the team convert their big ideas into tangible ones (7 minutes)
You've Got a Friend In Me: Collaboration - facilitates the team members to help each other on their product ideas (7 minutes)
After Hours: Tangible Outcome - sets a deadline for people to choose their ideas and begin work (asynchronous activity set by the team)
