System-Stakeholder-Value Analysis

SSVA is a stakeholder mapping and evaluation tool developed by TheSubut.

It can be used to facilitate the processes of:

• Detailing Perspectives and Contexts of the current system in question

• Understanding current value creation and consumption dynamics among stakeholders of a system

• Discussing desired value creation and consumption dynamics.

• Defining gaps between the current state and a desired state.

The Idea behind Analysis

Understanding systems can be a quite challenging task, especially when team does not have the same level of knowledge and has difficulty in detailing "Perspectives and Contexts of the System" in question.

This tool is designed to capture context in relation to 4 core value type:

• Functional Value

• Economic Value

• Psychological Value

• Social Value

Through defining perspectives by:

• The Creators of that particular value

• and The Consumers of it.

Further, it groups stakeholders with respect to:

• What is Inside

• What is Outside

Therefore, it helps focus the discussions for every stakeholder and key players of the system and their relation to value dynamics.
